Globe and Mail feature on the Discovery Islands

Where has February gone? Steamy Window Productions has some exciting announcements to make next week on a few new projects we’ve started, we wanted to take a moment to share our recent Globe and Mail travel feature on oyster farming and harvesting the Discovery Islands.

This editorial is a behind-the-scenes peak at our recent Tourism BC online video campaign. It was published in the Saturday travel section on February 9th while we were away on assignment in Belize (more on that next week!)

The Loden Hotel and Bachelor Canada: A Perfect Match

Bachelor Canada and The Loden Hotel put the call out for heartbreakers and Steamy Window Productions was there to film the kick-off to the Canada-wide audition process in Vancouver on February 19, 2012. Girls (and a few guys) from all over the province lined up all morning for their chance to dazzle and amaze casting directors.

When The Loden Hotel approached us to launch their 2012 online digital video campaign, we jumped at the opportunity to work with such a fun and stylish boutique hotel. We wanted to create a fresh, reality-style behind-the-scenes video to capture the essence of The Loden’s brand.

TipList: a fantastic app for travel fanatics with great taste

One of our favourite publicists in San Francisco (Rebecca at Rsquared Communication) got in touch with us today about a great new travel app called TipList.
It’s simple to use and connects to your Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare profiles.

I remember sitting around with friends over a bottle of wine recently where someone asked, “Oh hey, I’m going to New York next week. Could you make a list of places I should see?” This is the perfect app for trips inspired by friends and family. We can’t wait to use it on our next trip.
